BUNNY COOPER IN TURIN, ITALY

Here is Bunny Cooper after his train journey, he is at the station in Turin-can you see the train behind him? It is a very fast train, and a nice red colour too.

Egyptian Museum-Turin

Do you know what these are?

Did you guess? These are called hieroglyphics and they are a language that was used for writing in ancient Egypt (when the pyramids were built). Bunny Cooper could not read them, though he did think that he recognised some of the shapes, like the bird.

Egyptian Statue

These are statues of special people who lived in Egypt many, many years ago.

What does this look like? Well, it's a cat. the Egyptians liked cats very much and when their favourite cat died they were prepared in a special way and wrapped up really nice with lots of decorations before they were buried. It was called a 'mummy',
Bunny Cooper thought that was really funny as it did not look like any mummy he knew.

Bunny Cooper was really tired and went to sleep in the museum.

Bunny Cooper Goes on Eurostar

Bunny Cooper has been all the way to Paris, France on a special train called Eurostar. He was so excited because he has never been to France in all his life.

Soon arriving in Paris, Gare du Nord station, do you remember what that means? Yes, it means North Station in French.

When Bunny Cooper looked out of the window he was surprised to see the land was all white, it was snowing in France and Bunny Cooper was really happy to see the snow.

Then it was a short trip to the next station where he caught the train to Turin, Italy. He was quite tired then so had a little nap.

Next stop-Turin......how exciting for Bunny Cooper travelling all that way. I wonder what he will find in Turin and what places he will visit there...
